The STIP Manager displays 3 functional areas upon first entry into the application: (1) Tabs and Control Ribbon (2) Legend, and (3) Map Frame. Each of these are shown in the image below, with corresponding numbers to the list above.
(1) Tabs and Control Ribbon
The STIP Manager interface has 5 tabs: Map, Manage, Reports, System Administration, and Help. Each tab contains a set of controls displayed in ribbon format. When a tab is selected, the corresponding set of controls is displayed. These controls are sectioned on the tab's ribbon by general function.
(2) Legend
The Legend displays a list of available map layers that can be turned on/off by clicking the appropriate checkbox. The MPO layer is already checked upon first entering the application, but this layer can also be unchecked if desired. The legend menu is displayed upon opening the application, but it can be hidden/re-opened by clicking the arrow control (caret) to its immediate right.
(3) Map Frame
The Map Frame is used to display STIP information visually. A variety of controls for the Map Frame permit the user to zoom to an area of interest if desired.
