The Map tab provides controls that work directly with the map and its content, allowing the user to navigate the map and plot information. There are 3 sections for the Map ribbon: Navigate, Identify, and Map.
Navigate
The following tools are provided under the Navigate group. The user can simply click on the desired tool to run its function.

-- Zoom to State: Zoom the map to the state boundary.

-- Zoom In: Enlarge the map; if a location is selected, it centers that point on the map.
-- Zoom Out: Reduce the map size; if a location is selected, it centers that point on the map.
-- Zoom Area: Change the map zoom to a user defined area.
-- Previous Extent: Return the map viewing area to the previous extent.
-- Next Extent: Display the map viewing area in the next extent.
-- Zoom to Query Results: Zoom the map to the results of the currently defined query.
Identify
The following tools are provided under the Identify group. The user can click on the relevant tool, then click a location to retrieve information about the features or routes nearby.
-- Identify Feature: Select any GIS feature and retrieve basic information.
-- Identify Route: Select any route and retrieve basic information.
Map
The following tools are provided under the Map group. The user can click on the intended tool to open the corresponding list, pop-up, or print dialogue.
-- Basemap: Open a list of available basemaps for the user.
-- Change Map Display: Change the display of projects to show only a certain MPO, Program, or Activity set.
-- Print Map: Open a print dialog to print the map.
