When the Budget icon () is selected in the Manage tab, the Fiscal Constraint internal tab and the Program Targets internal tab can be opened.

Function: Modify Fund Information

The Modify Fund Information interface is used to change the fund details and the Federal and Matching funds' percentages. The user can also delete a fund as long as the fund is not being used by a project in any past or future STIPs. The Modify Fund Information interface can be accessed by clicking on a fund type link in the Fiscal Constraint tab. This interface will appear in two ways:

(1) Highway -- Fiscal Constraint

This is the Modify Fund Information interface that appears when the user is on the Fiscal Constraint internal tab, the Activity filter picklist reads "Highway," and a fund type link is selected.

(1) Transit -- Fiscal Constraint

This is the Modify Fund Information interface that appears when the user is on the Fiscal Constraint internal tab, the Activity filter picklist reads "Transit," and a fund type link is selected.

Function: Modify Program Information

The Modify Program Information interface is used to change the program details. The user can also delete a program as long as it has not been assigned to any STIP projects on the Funding tab. If a Program is no longer needed but cannot be deleted, the user can "Retire" the Program by entering an "End Year" value. The Modify Program Information interface can be accessed by clicking on a program name in the Program Targets tab. This interface will appear in two ways:

(1) Highway -- Program Targets

This is the Modify Program Information interface that appears when the user is on the Program Targets internal tab, the Activity filter picklist reads "Highway," and a program name link is selected.

(2) Transit -- Program Targets

This is the Modify Program Information interface that appears when the user is on the Program Targets internal tab, the Activity filter picklist reads "Transit," and a program name link is selected.

Modify Fund or Program

To modify a fund or program, the user can select the intended link in the first column of the table. By selecting this link, a pop-up window will open. The user can fill or alter the desired fields. The user can click "Save" after inputting the information to modify the fund or program.
