This tool is located on the Maintenance section of the System Administration tab.

Function

The Code Lists interface (Code Lists.png) is used to edit and maintain application code lists.

Sections

The Code List interface consists of 3 sections:

  1. Code List Table and Controls -- Allows the user to select the desired code list and order the codes in the table.
  2. Editor Fields -- Allows the user to view and edit code list information.
  3. Button Controls -- Contains four button controls.

Controls

The Code Lists interface hosts some controls:

Control Section Used To...
Code List Dropdown Code List Controls Select the code list to view and edit.
Code List Table Code List Controls Select codes and edit their display order.
Reorder the Report Column Sequence: Double Up/Down Arrows Code List Controls Move a selected item to the top/bottom of the list.
Reorder the Report Column Sequence: Single Up/Down Arrow Code List Controls Move a selected item up/down one row in the list.
Edit Code Section Fields Editor Fields View the ID and AC Legend Colors Name fields and edit the Colors field.
Add New Code Button Button Controls Add a new code to the code list.
Sort Codes A-Z Button Button Controls Sort the codes for the code list alphabetically.
Save Changes Button Button Controls Save the changes made to the code list in the interface.
Discard Changes Button Button Controls Discard the changes made to the code list in the interface.

Edit Code Fields

As mentioned in the table above, the Edit Code section has three fields: ID, AC Legend Colors Name, and Colors. While only the Colors field is editable, the user will be able to view the name and ID associated with every code list in the application. The table below outlines each field and its description.

Field Description
ID The number assigned to a code list.
AC Legend Colors Name The name given to a code list.
Colors The color associated with the code list.
