This tool is located on the Maintenance section of the System Administration tab.
Function
The Users interface () is used to add and edit user information and privileges.
Sections
The User Maintenance interface consists of 3 sections:
- User Table -- Provides a list of users who have access to the application.
- Edit Fields -- Provides options to edit general information about the currently selected user.
- Button Controls -- Contains three button controls.
Controls
The Users interface offers some controls:

| Last Name Search Textbox | User Table | Jump to a given user. |
| Checkboxes/Delete Selected Link | User Table | Remove the selected user by checking the checkbox for the desired row/user and clicking the Delete Selected Link. |
| Last Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the last name of the selected user; required field. |
| First Name Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the first name of the selected user; required field. |
| Username Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the username of the selected user; required field. |
| User Status Dropdown | Edit Fields | Edit the status (Active/Inactive) of the selected user. |
| Email Address Textbox | Edit Fields | Edit the email address of the selected user. |
| Office Dropdown | Edit Fields | Edit the office in which the user is located. |
| Four Digit PIN Textbox | Edit Fields | Enter a PIN number; this field is only for users with FHWA and/or FTA permissions. |
| MPO/RTA Management Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the MPO and RTA permissions for the selected user. |
| Program Management Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the program permissions for the selected user. |
| Permissions Link | Edit Fields | Open a pop-up menu to add/remove the general permissions for the selected user. |
| Add New Person Button | Button Controls | Add a new user to the application. |
| Save Changes Button | Button Controls | Save changes applied to the user. |
| Discard Changes Button | Button Controls | Discard any changes made to the user. |
Workflow
To view a user's information and permissions, select the desired user's row on the User Table. Then, the Edit Fields will be filled with the relevant user information. These fields can now be edited for the current user; once the intended changes are made, click the "Save Changes" button.
Important Note
While it is not required that a user be entered into the User Maintenance module to access the STIP Manager, all users not found in the system will have read-only access and will not see the System Administration menu. If you are having trouble with editing or are unable to see certain tools in the application, you may not be in User Maintenance. Contact PMG Support for help with this issue.
