The Location search tools can be accessed through the "Location" dropdown on the Main Menu. When this dropdown is selected, three sections are visible: Boundaries, Route, and Political.

Function

The Location dropdown provides the ability to search for a route or a location on a route, including boundary and political areas. When a search is instigated, data that meets location search criteria and the additional filters provided by one or more of the information types will be displayed.

Search

The Location dropdown coincides with the function of the information type categories (Projects, Road Inventory, Traffic, Bridges, Pavement, and Bike & Ped). When selected, the location information will appear in the Criteria pop-up on the right side of the screen. At least one location filter must be included in order to perform most queries; however, other selections in the information type categories must also be selected before running a search.
