The Actions interface hosts the workflow for managing Project Refreshes and incorporating them into the Project Universe. System Administrators will be able to manage the Actions interface, while Division users will have read-only access. This module can be accessed from the Main menu.
Changes to the Actions Interface
The Actions interface is where OTP will review changes and refreshes submitted for review by users from the Projects interface. When a change is made in the system, this series of events will occur:
- User must save and submit the change.
- The application will alert System Admins to review changes.
- Approved changes then update the Project Universe.
This process ensures that all proposed changes are evaluated, approved, and documented before implementation, helping maintain the data integrity and stability of the system by preventing unauthorized or unplanned changes. Ultimately, the Actions tab serves as a change control process for effective change management and quality assurance.
Tabs
The Actions interface will be composed of two tabs. These tabs provide the ability to review and process pending changes through the Actions workflow.
