The STIP Funding Information interface has two main areas: Project Filters and STIP Funding Totals/Table.
Project Filters
The Project Filters on the STIP Funding Information interface serve a similar purpose to the Project Filters on the Projects interface and the main STIP Viewer screen. These fields filter the Totals and Table based on certain criteria. The Totals and Table will update automatically as filter criteria is entered. The table below describes the available fields/criteria.
| Field | Description |
| Year | A picklist of year values. |
| Funding Source | A picklist of all funding sources associated with STIP projects. |
| Is Obligated | A picklist of Yes/No options to filter the table based on obligated funds. |
| Ad Date is on or after | A calendar select field which determines a focus date for the data; all projects with the specified Ad Date and those that fall after will fill the table/totals. |
| Ad Date is on or before | A calendar select field which determines a focus date for the data; all projects with the specified Ad Date and those that fall before will fill the table/totals. |
STIP Funding Totals & Table
The Totals and Table section allows the user to explore the financial data related to the STIP projects. The data shown here is based on the Project Filter selections; if no filter selections have been made, all projects will be listed in the table and will be accounted for in the totals.
Totals
The Totals appear above the table on the right side of the STIP Funding Information interface. This section shows the total funds available for STIP projects (Programmed) and the total funds for each funding category (Federal, State, and Other).
Table
The Table allows the user to view each project's financial data. There are eleven available column headers for this table: Project ID, Year, Funded By, Funding Source, Total Programmed, Federal Funds, State Funds, Other Funds, Ad Date, Is Obligated, and Activity. The user can sort the table by clicking on the desired column header. One click orders the table in ascending order by the column type, two clicks order the table in descending order by the column type, and three clicks delete the sorting type and order. The user can also manage the sort order by clicking the three dots () on a column header and selecting the desired sort order (ascending/descending).
The Table section also offers a control strip with five tools:
