The Projects Button is located below the Standard Reports on the left side of the STIP Viewer (shown in a red box below).
Function
The Projects Button opens the MassDOT Projects Viewer interface to view more details on projects beyond the information detailed on Map pop-ups and the Search Results Table. This up-to-date interface allows users to view a breakdown of all federal and state matching dollars used on Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funded projects. Users can also view the current balances of funds that have not yet been obligated on the Projects Viewer. Beyond the additional funding information, this interface allows insight into Design and Construction statuses for certain projects.
Entry Pop-Up
When the user enters the MassDOT Projects Viewer interface, they will be greeted with a pop-up message that details the purpose of this interface and how to use it. This message will appear every time the user enters the interface unless they check "Don't show this again" before clicking "OK."
Interfaces
The MassDOT Projects Viewer interface is divided into two interfaces: Projects and STIP Funding Information. The Projects interface is displayed by default. The user can switch between the two interfaces through the static button that rests in the lower left corner (shown in red boxes below). The text on this button will change to reflect the interface which is not currently shown.
