There are many tables used throughout CIP Manager to present information. The user has some power over the display of these tables through the acts of filtering and sorting.
Table Header
The table header can be used to sort its contents. All interfaces have a default sort type and direction, but this can be changed by clicking on another column name. Selecting the column name changes the sort type, while selecting the same column name a second time will change the sort direction.
Advanced Filtering
On some interfaces, Advanced Filters are also available. To access this feature, the user can select the "Advanced Filters" button. Once selected, a pop-up will appear, allowing the user to specify a string of criteria by entering values into the Field, Operator, and Value fields. The "Add Filter" button creates a criteria row with selectable picklists and/or editable textboxes for specification. Multiple rows can be added for the criteria using the "Add Filter" button; the "Advanced Filters Logic" determines how the criteria rows are grouped together (AND/OR). After selecting "Apply Filters", the table will update.
Note: The available trash icons allow the user to delete individual criteria rows () or all criteria rows (
).
