There are many tables used throughout CIP Manager to present information. The user has some power over the display of these tables through the act of filtering.
Quick Search
The Quick Search filters appear at the top of the interface and are used to narrow down the projects displayed on the table. These filters can be picklists or textboxes, depending on the module and tab. When a value is selected in one of these fields, the table will be populated with the relevant project list.
Advanced Filtering
On some interfaces, Advanced Filters are also available. To access this feature, the user can select the "Advanced Filters" button. Once selected, a pop-up will appear, allowing the user to specify a string of criteria by entering values into the Field, Operator, and Value fields. The "Add Filter" button creates a criteria row with selectable picklists and/or editable textboxes for specification. Multiple rows can be added for the criteria using the "Add Filter" button; the "Advanced Filters Logic" determines how the criteria rows are grouped together (AND/OR). After selecting "Apply Filters", the table will update.
Note: The available trash icons allow the user to delete individual criteria rows () or all criteria rows (
).
